Hypnotherapy \/ Counselling<\/strong><\/strong><\/h1>\n

The Combination of counselling and hypnotherapy brings the best results in my practice.<\/p>\n

In my practice, I use an integrative approach which involves working with the conscious part of the brain (in talking therapies such as Counselling\/ Psychotherapy) and also subconscious part of the brain (Hypnotherapy).<\/p>\n

The combination of both therapies<\/a> is helping clients with deeper problems that may not be able to be addressed with talking therapy alone.<\/p>\n

At first, we will allow the safe space for the client to address their issues, to talk about them, to offload them, to explore them, to work through them, to make them aware of their unhealthy patterns of behaviour.<\/p>\n

And then with this knowledge, with these pieces of puzzles, we would build our work in a trance( hypnotherapy) to be able to break bad unhealthy habits\/ fears\/ phobias\/old decisions \/unhealthy coping strategies.<\/p>\n

This kind of work is done when the client is deeply relaxed but at the same time in total control and can open their eyes at any point of the session.<\/p>\n

Does hypnosis<\/a> work for everyone?
It will work in the majority of cases when:
1) The client will allow themselves to be very relaxed in the company of the therapist ( but not asleep) These can be achieved for some straight away but for others within several sessions.
2) The client should be 100% to want and to be ready to give up the bad habit (sometimes our close people want us to give up a particular habit or to change particular behaviour\/reactions rather than us wanting it to give it up.)<\/p>\n

Hypnosis has the capacity to work for the majority of individuals but some are more susceptible to suggestions than others. The most important thing to remember is that you must be fully committed to the process and feel that you can place your trust in your hypnotherapist. It\u2019s also important to keep an open mind, as any scepticism may subconsciously dampen your susceptibility.<\/p>\n
